The 2023 F1 intro is one of the worst I’ve ever seen in F1 history, and part of the reason any other song except the official F1 theme suits it better. This is a good example. The person who edited the official intro did a terrible job and hope they were fired.

Honestly, I hope for the team to improve and get better. James Vowles as a TP is under tremendous pressure and have not seen a crack or as much as a drop of sweat in his response to these kind of questions. They have a long way to go wrt to processes and manufacturing which can not only be solved by splurging money, but I do see them taking issues head on. A new era(2026 >) might just put them on a better spot in the field.

So articulate, imagine if we could all speak as well as him 👌

Weirdly enough this theme, emphasises the overly competitive field of F1 than the original did. It's like the music is deliberately saying that the drivers being shown are actively fighting for their lives, like within a single season, all of them may all be revoked of their F1 seat. It's also emphasising the "going to war" vibe to it and it's very much fitting. Now that I think about it Brian Tyler's score for F1 more or less emphasises the greatness of F1 rather than its competitive nature. It's majestic, with high strings and brass, obviously emphasising the pinnacle of something, which is Formula One itself, as it is an end goal for most motorsport drivers. But the Formula E theme, despite not being the most popular open-wheel racing category or the most competitive, is saying that Formula E is another battlefield for one victor to reach greatness. As if it's the final stretch to the end goal alongside F2, which is usually true in the racing world.
